Ask about calls

When transcription is available, the D Line workspace includes a chat over call transcripts so your team can ask about those conversations.

Try it on your own network.

RingCentral publishes a 99.999% uptime SLA; D Line does not publish an SLA. Rather than making quality claims, we recommend testing calls, devices, and routing during the D Line trial.

A fair fit check

When RingCentral is still the better choice.

RingCentral can be the stronger choice for large multi-site organizations, deep Microsoft Teams calling, its listed 330+ integrations, contact-center needs, international numbers, or a published SLA.

Move your numbers

How to switch in a considered order.

Our team helps you map users, extensions, call routing, and voicemail. Keep your existing service active until the move is complete.

  1. 01

Gather account details exactly as RingCentral lists them and back up call logs, recordings, and messages.

  2. 02

Ask D Line for a porting review and map users, extensions, routing, and voicemail with our team.

  3. 03

Free porting: D Line does not charge to port your number in. Eligibility and timing are confirmed before the move; keep your old service active until the port completes.

  4. 04

Test inbound calls, messages, voicemail, and devices before cancelling the former service.

Questions

Before you choose.

Can I keep my phone numbers if I leave RingCentral?

Yes. Request a port from RingCentral; porting in to D Line is free. Eligibility and timing are confirmed before the move.

How long does porting from RingCentral take?

Timing depends on the number and its eligibility. Keep RingCentral active until the port completes, and confirm timing with the team before the move.

Is D Line cheaper than RingCentral for a small team?

It depends on your needs. With five people, RingEX Core starts at $100/month billed annually, while D Line Base starts at $20/month per workspace before extra numbers and add-ons.

Will my desk phones work with D Line?

D Line can quote pre-configured IP phones and supports popular brands such as Yealink, Fanvil, and Grandstream. Hardware is billed separately.

Are there overage charges for calls or texts?

No. Calling and texting are unlimited under our fair-use policy, with no per-minute or per-text overage charges. Fair use is 5,000 minutes and 2,000 texts per active user per month. Billing is per workspace with free unlimited users, so unusually high per-workspace usage is reviewed with you, not billed. Very high-volume teams (call centers, bulk or autodialer calling, 24/7 outbound) should contact us for a custom plan. Autodialers, robocalls, and bulk or unsolicited texting are not allowed.

Who answers when we need help?

Real people. D Line has 24/7 live human support by phone and email, on every plan, with no bots in the way.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, a 30-day money-back guarantee. If D Line is not right for your business, email support within 30 days of your first plan charge (monthly or annual) and we refund that charge in full. The $3 trial fee, metered usage (such as international calls), and one-time fees are not covered.

Try D Line for 14 days for $3.
